Our Staff

Coulter

Myles Coulter with his wife Caroline

Myles and Caroline originally come from Harrow, Middlesex where, for 4 years, Myles was the full time worker in a church which specialised in reaching out to young people from the Asian community.

Before this they were both workers with Youth With A Mission (YWAM).

It was during their time in YWAM that God began to lay certain things on their hearts - including becoming full time church workers, growing into leaders of God’s people and starting a family.

Thankfully, with their coming to Russell Park and their son Joel at their side, they are seeing the fulfillment of these things God revealed to them.

GibsonDavid Gibson with his wife Lorraine

David trained as a professional musician, teaching for 20 years. He moved with his family to Bedford (and Russell Park Baptist Church) in December of 1985, when he took up a teaching post locally.  Over the course of about 10 years he became successively a Deacon, the leader of the ‘new’ worship group, a Home Group leader (with Lorraine), and then an Elder. In October 1997 he resigned his secular job and became Associate Pastor.

Chris

Chris Johnson with his wife Hannah

Chris joined us at Russell Park in August 2006 as trainee Youth Worker.

He became a Christian in year 4 at school when his best friend (who was also his worst enemy just the year before) returned from a weekend talking all about the fun he had.  He’d also become a Christian and Chris thought that it wasn’t fair him having all the fun and getting saved, so he prayed he’d be saved too.

If he could have any super power he’d love to be able to fly since he is a bit scared of heights and wouldn’t have to worry about falling anymore.

His greatest achievement is cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats when he was 17.  Would have been much easier if he was able to fly.

Chris and Hannah got married in the summer of 2007.

He is married to Joy and they have two children, Stephen and Natalie.
