As a church we believe in four key areas which define our identity, vision and values:

At Russell Park Baptist Church we have a vision to be a community that knows what it is to embrace both God’s Word (the Bible) and God’s Holy Spirit.

We desire to be those living abundantly by being grounded in the Word and gripped by the Spirit; fixed by the Word and fuelled by the Spirit; centred by the Word and compelled by the Spirit.

This is about dedicating ourselves corporately and individually to studying and applying the Bible and at the same time submitting ourselves to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Our prayer is that by valuing both the Word and the Spirit we will be a community known for living abundantly, a people who like Jesus are known for being “powerful in word and deed before God and the people.” Luke 24:19.
